In October of the same year, Paul Freeman got another brief glimpse of a Bigfoot in Washington, at Mill Creek Watershed. On 5 October he was with his son Duane, who first noticed the Bigfoot as it came out of some trees, and he took some photographs of it. Paul put a film into his old-fashioned movie camera, and shot some footage, but it didn’t come out. They were about 150 yards away, and described the creature as about 7½ feet tall, weighing 500-700 pounds, and with very long arms. Its body hair was dark, its facial hair grayish. The best photograph shows only a large, dark, humanlike shape among the trees, and no detail can be made out. In a press interview in March 1989, Paul Freeman claimed he had seen Bigfoot four times. At that time he was in the woods three days a week, and had spent $50,000 on the search.
